How did we get here?

Dusidog started from my love of dogs and sewing. I have an obsession about sewing and started making things for my, then puppy, Duke. Not only did designing and making things gave me so much joy but I saw that little bow tie on Duke's collar made people smile and brightened up their stressful day. I was thrilled!

In 2013, I decided to set up a shop on Etsy to offer preppy style pet accessories, hoping that at least they’ll make someone smile. Never did I realize how much support I would receive.

Fast forward to 2017, I decided to take a leap and moved my sewing studio outside my home and set up shop! I have learned so much and continue to learn every day.

We are a small business that prides ourselves on making our products by hand one at a time or in small batches. Currently a team of 2, Carrie joined me in the sewing department to help make our products. She has been trained to ensure the products are made the same way Dusidog has been making them. We are not fast fashion. We are old school. We pay attention to the smallest details in creating our accessories to assure they hold up to our highest standards. We are proud to say our products have a quality that is second to none, unique and unlike anything you will find at the big box stores.

So here we are! I am grateful for the support from our customers for all these years. We are here because of you.
